Bracketing generates multiple versions of an image
by altering a specific variable setting. EXILIM PRO provides
two bracketing modes: Auto Bracketing and Multi Bracketing.
With Auto Bracketing, you can record a series of images using
different settings for exposure, white balance, and focus.
Multi Bracketing lets you apply different color filters, saturation
settings, sharpness settings, and more to produce multiple
versions of the same image. |

The above images are produced using
Portrait Multi Bracketing.
Three images are produced, one each using the Normal, Type
A (soft focus),
and Type B (enhanced flesh tones) Portrait
settings. |

With Auto Bracketing, exposure (EV value) is automatically
shifted as a series of images is recorded. You can select from
among three variables to be shifted: EV value (AE bracketing),
white balance (WB bracketing), or focus (AF bracketing). You
can specify recording of either three or five images, and you
can specify a base value from which to shift the setting of
a parameter. |

The Multi Preview screen shows you all of the
images in a series produced by an Auto Bracketing, Multi Bracketing,
or a high-speed continuous shutter operation. Each of the images
recorded with a bracketing operation is accompanied by the
value of the applicable variable. If you record a series of
images using AE bracketing, for example, the Multi Preview
screen shows each image along with its EV shift value. |
