The EXILIM PRO is designed and engineered
to deliver the speed you need to capture those special
moments whenever they happen. A fast startup time has it
ready to shoot about 2.0 seconds*1 after you turn on power.
A shutter release time lag of about 0.01 second*2 means
that recording starts virtually the instant you press the
shutter button. |
*1 Approximate: using built-in memory, built-in flash off.
*2 Time before recording starts after the shutter button
is pressed; built-in flash turned off, focus locked. |

High-speed continuous shutter records up to
six images at three images per second, without sacrificing
any of the resolution made possible by the 6-megapixel
CCD. Normal-speed continuous shutter continues to record
consecutive images as long as there is memory available
to store them. |
* With normal-speed continuous shutter, image
quality depends on the image size. |

A
hybrid AF system uses both phase differential sensor
AF and contrast AF. This means you always get the
best combination of high-speed and high-precision
focusing.
Continuous AF is selected automatically for subjects that
are in motion. It is a high-speed AF mode that continually
adjusts the focus as the subject moves. |

A dedicated [BKT] key provides one-touch access
to a menu for configuring continuous shutter and bracketing
settings. |

|
Even when you are not using continuous shutter,
you can record images at intervals of approximately 1.7
seconds.* This helps to ensure that you are always ready
to capture those special moments when they happen. |
* Built-in flash off |

A single press of the shutter button records
a series of 25 consecutive images at a rate of about 15
frames per second, and stores them in a single image file.*
Multi continuous shutter is the perfect choice to check
a golf swing or for other sports applications. |

When viewing recorded images, you can scroll
at a rate of about 0.1 second per image, which means you
can scroll through 100 images in about 10 seconds. High-speed
scrolling helps you find the image you want quickly and
easily. |
