Superb scanning performance The newly developed integrated scanner scans at 100 times per second. This high speed makes the scan more accurate, even with damaged bar codes, so making the process much quicker. Comfort in your hand With dimensions of approx. 140 (D) x 55 (W) x 35 (H) mm, and a weight of approx. 170g, the DT-300 fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. The ergonomic shape means it is comfortable to use for a whole shift. Large size screen is easier on your eyes The screen has a resolution of 112 x 64 dots and can display fonts in three different sizes for optimum display. Font modes 6, 8, and 10-dot are supported. Highly sealed construction allows use in wet conditions Dust and water-splash proofing to IP54 level makes it possible for the operator to operate the terminal in extreme environments including outdoors in the rain. Rugged design for harsh handling The terminal is encased in a durable housing so that it can withstand shock against a drop of 150 cm. Data protection and long battery life The terminal has a large memory capacity; 2MB RAM and 8MB F-ROM. There is a memory backup battery provided as standard to protect data should the batteries run down. However, two alkaline batteries will last as long as 190 hours of operation. Data exchange between terminals and with a PC The integrated IrDA interface version 1.1 enables data exchange between terminals and with a PC. The interface enables a typical system configuration shown below for communication.
