Everybody knows the "Vienna-Opera-Ball", but from this year onwards the "Semper-Opera-Ball" in Dresden will be one of the high lights in Germany. In 1841 the "Royal Theater" was established by the architect Gottfried Semper. Bursted into flames in 1869, it was built up again in 1878. But during world war II. in 1945 the theatre burned down again, it was reconstructed many years later and opened again in 1985. Since 1991 this house was called "Saxony State Opera, Dresden". After 67 years, on 13th January 2006, the "Semper Opera Ball" in Dresden took place again. With various performances and cooking for more than 2,000 guests served by the catering company "Italian Village", the manager Mr.Wiese named us some very interesting details: 255 employees and 60 cooks served about 1,800 special dinners, about 800 special food arrangements, about more than 1,000 oysters as well as 800 bottles champagne and more than 2,000 bottles of fine wine.

How did CR-Dresden introduce Casio QT-6000?
The set-up and programming of this ECR's was managed by the ECR-dealer CR-Dresden, Mr.Stange and his employees.
Touch pannel, pull down group and color settings make easier and quicker registration for the staffs of Semper-Opera-Ball without taking a lot of time for the training.
Improvement of Semper-Opera-Ball after using the CASIO product
Managed by 13 CASIO cash registers "QT-6000" in average 900 to 1,000 postings had been done. But no problems occure during the event in this system.
This system enables to increase the sales profit in this Opera-Ball much more and improve their business hour less time.
This event will be planed to be done next year. CASIO GmbH maintains the connection with CR-Dresden and also recommends to use QT-6000 system in the next year.
