0.01-second Release Time Lag
CASIO's renowned digital imaging technology delivers a release time lag of about 0.01 second. This means the shutter releases virtually the instant you press the shutter button. image image
Fast release time lag
It captures the image you want.
Slow release time lag
Timing is slightly off.
7-point Multi Auto Focus
The distance from the subject is measured at seven different points, and the camera automatically selects the point where the camera-to-subject distance is shortest. This allows more precise focus and eliminates the chance of foreground subjects being out of focus when the main subject is not located in the center of the screen.*
Triple Self-timer
The Triple Self-timer records three consecutive shots with a single shutter button operation. Then you can select the one you want to keep.
On-screen Histogram
You can change settings and even record images while checking current exposure levels with the histogram. A curve that is too far left indicates underexposure, while a curve to the right indicates over exposure. A centered graph indicates best exposure. image
Macro Mode
The Macro Mode lets you move in up to 10 centimeters for intimate closeups that reveal more about a subject. image
On-screen Grid
A simple operation displays a grid on the monitor screen to simplify image composition and help to ensure that images are aligned properly. image
Movie Mode
Record movies up to 60 seconds long.
Powered by rechargeable AA-size nickel metal hydride batteries
The camera can also run on common AA-size alkaline batteries, which means you can easily purchase batteries, no matter where your travels happen to take you. image
*Alkaline batteries may not provide any operation when the temperature is 5°C (41°F) or lower.
