The ZR3500 is equipped with a Front Shutter for taking selfies which are preferably captured lengthwise. This feature allows you to smoothly and effectively capture stable images when you press the shutter with your thumb as you hold the camera lengthwise. Front Shutter makes taking selfies with one hand even more easy and efficient.

Motion Shutter allows hands-free operation of the camera’s shutter release timer. This means when you wave your hand from a distance, the camera will sense the movement and activate the timer. What’s more, this feature not only allows you to take pictures, but also to playback images without touching the camera. This is a feature that lets you be more expressive by allowing you several options such as posing the way you like for selfies and group shots, and framing your shots to better capture the background scenery.

EX-ZR3500’s Make-up mode has evolved, allowing you to capture your beauty in any way you prefer. By using a 1/1.7-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor and a newly developed lens, there is a significant improvement in detail reproduction capability. In addition, Skin Tone can be finely adjusted between light to tan. Combined with the standard Smooth Skin adjustment feature, you can take selfies that capture your ideal skin texture and tone.

Save three images of varying make-up effects with a single press of the shutter button. Based on your Skin Tone setting, the EX-ZR3500 saves an image captured according to your setting as well as two images taken at levels above and below the setting, providing you with three visually distinct images. This allows you to capture the beautiful images that you want with one press of the shutter button, practically eliminating any need to retake a photo or changing the setting for every shot.

With this feature, you can combine the images that you’ve taken into a single collage. Create imaginative compositions such as a collection of your changing hair and fashion styles or even your various facial expressions. What’s more, the collage you create can be easily uploaded and shared on SNS sites via smartphone.
